@AJHenderson The RT system is fantastic, but Godox's X system also has built-in radio triggering with TTL/HSS/power control, is less expensive, and includes bare bulb flashes and studio strobes. And also supports Nikon, Sony, Fuji, micro four-thirds, and is adding Pentax support. Easier to share with other system shooters or to switch cameras if you only need to rebuy the transmitter.

You probably need to learn off-camera lighting (which will require getting lighting gear) for your portraiture. And with events, you need to practice how to scope out locations for shooting conditions and how anticipate and capture moments with only a single opportunity. Unlike landscapes and portraits, events don't wait for you to adjust and reshoot. You have a good composition sense, and it may make more sense to concentrate on portrait shooting first, before attempting events.

I feel the crop factor now as I sometimes cannot achieve that depth of field on the crop. also if I want to buy a 24-105 f4, f4 would be of no use on a crop sensor :/

I am struggling on a decision. As I bought the 750d not too long ago (also new), I am on a tight budget now.

After a lot of search, I've come down to these:
