- You did not "merely explain that [you] find the answer to be not nice and fail to address the asker's questions." You were not within the guidelines set by the SE network. If you were, there would be no problem at all with your comment.
Lots of commenters (myself included) point out when an answer isn't nice. But it's best done without insulting the poster.

@RoryAlsop It is really strange for you to say that either flag type would be accepted. The answer was only a day old at the time, so to say a comment on the answer is no longer needed seems unreasonable. To say my comment was "not nice" is not at all accurate. Forgive me if I'm mistaken and the "comment" you are discussing is actually the answer left by MissEMonica.

@AnneDaunted Why did you flag my comment exactly? I'm also wondering why it is seen as rude or abusive to merely explain that I find the answer to be not nice and fail to address the asker's questions. It is encouraged to leave feedback in the comments and I did so in a civil manner within the guidelines of the site.
