When I try to remember the spelling of a difficult word, I come up with a deliberately incorrect (silly sounding, but memorable) pronunciation for it, which helps me remember.

I believe that we can free to interpret any quotes whichever way we want; however, if we want to know what the speaker meant when he or she said that, it's probably the best to understand it in context.
