'explorer.exe is replaced by game.exe'. You're giving your application system-level access? What if the user triggers a bug/opens a dev console/windows actually needs windows to run? You seem to be building an arcade-like machine cabinet. Why not get some off-the-shelf kiosk software that has these protections built-in? Why not another, easier system to manage (like linux?)

I don't know if this has been mentioned already but aren't there ways to dump the RAM to a persistent storage? Wouldn't that effectively dump the game.exe file?

I doubt it would be accepted as an answer, but... given a normal console and a couple of controllers (or a different computer)... Practical examples: youtube.com/watch?v=IOsvuEA2h4w&t=674s by a bot and youtube.com/watch?v=hB6eY73sLV0 by a human
