Consider $f : \Bbb R^2 \to \Bbb R$, given by $f(x, y) = xy \cdot (x^2 - y^2)/(x^2 + y^2)$ when $(x, y) \neq (0, 0)$ and $f(0, 0) = (0, 0)$.
