Saying that covfefe was simply a typing mistake does not suffice anymore since White House speaker Sean Spicer said on 31/05/2017 that "the president and a number of people exactly know" what it means. Whether or not a question is popular is quite irrelevant in determining if it's on-topic @YoichiOishi (not saying it's not, just saying that your stated reason isn't a very good one).
