People who don't accept, and reflect on, kind criticism just shut themselves off to learning

Code the largest number you can in any language in the given link, using at most 256 characters (not including spaces, as judged by Microsoft Word), without calling in any large constants (like the current time) or importing functions from outside sources. You are given infinite running time and infinite memory, and judgement and which number is largest will be placed on my shoulders, unless I cannot decide, then we will take the matter to MSE. Thank you and enjoy

@Knight: As sai-kartik suggested, you can read the policies they have on donations. And if you want more advice perhaps you can ask your parents what they think as well. As Xander mentioned, many organizations ask for donations repeatedly. In case you're not aware, wikipedia has done this many times already. I recall seeing it about once every few years.

@SimplyBeautifulArt You'll sleep more comfortably if you take off your suit of armor, first, and put on, for the night, some jammies.

It might sound like evangelicalism from the logic crowd, but natural deduction is an essential part of a mathematician's toolkit if you want to be able to write your own proofs.

There's a funny joke I saw once: The more cheese, the more holes. The more holes, the less cheese. Therefore, the more cheese, the less cheese.

You've been told to knock it off with the drama. By many people with the capacity and requirement to enforce "be nice". You violate that rule at your own risk. (So, knock it off, and don't keep going with drama)

What is more frustrating right now is the insistence of certain users that they should be able to use the site however they most "enjoy" it, and that they should not be held to any kind of standard.

My brother once asked me if there was a function to produce a calendar grid from a list of dates in Google Sheets. I replied with a single-cell formula that took in a list of dates and outputted a calendar. It used SEQUENCE(), REGEXMATCH(), and a double-nested ARRAYFORMULA(), and it locked up the browser for 15 seconds every time it ran. I think he learned a lot about asking me things.

@VidyanshuMishra I see only see he's been active most recently on meta. No matter how much knowledge a person has if they don't know how to act like a decent human being, perhaps they need to be "gone".

@SimplyBeautifulArt I'd gently nudge you towards learning basic logic, after which you won't ever need to ask for critiquing of your reasoning again. =)

@aminliverpool: Stop dumping messages about your idea of MSE University here in SBA's realm. He has already told you that he does not welcome it. If you do it again we may have to think about kicking you out of this room, so please don't do it again.

That's the objective reason. The subjective reason is because teachers ought to care for their students period.

@Zophikel You are doing very well in improving yourself (educationally, and wrt mastering English and communication.), and don't always get a lot of credit for that, it seems. So I point it out now!! You are also very hard on yourself! Take a moment here and there to notice and appreciate what you are doing that's good, that's moving you forward, that shows growth!!!

I've been using the course notes of Rob and Carol Ash a lot. They are very pedagogically sound. Highly recommend them for anyone ever looking for material of this nature. math.uiuc.edu/~r-ash and math.uiuc.edu/~ash

In all these scenarios I am always amazed at the total lack of response from original asker once the question is put on-hold (and perhaps closed later) and someone else has to fight for their cause like a crusader. Why can't the asker at least come forward and present his case? — Paramanand Singh yesterday

A natural result of believing q_a_ks (medical or otherwise) is that one loses ability in logical reasoning, because one must suppress cognitive dissonance. And some of these people are too proud to admit their technical mistakes; they say that it is others who misunderstand them. They usually think they alone have found the right path, and that any criticism of those they adore must be flawed. Why exactly do they do that?
