It's the same kind of thing really. The best thing to do is to keep quality questions and answers coming, and to downvote/close the bad ones.

Q: How do touch screens work?

Faisal AbidHow does a touch screen work, more precsily the touch screens on today's smartphones (Iphone, Galaxy S). The thing that amazes me is that it can detect my finger but not an eraser or some other inanimate object.
