Difference between "hate propaganda" and discussing things "in a rational and professional manner" is often easy to tell, unless you personally determine what is "hateful" and what is "professional" according to you own preferences! So do go ahead and tell us the difference and also where either I or @Avicenna or @GreatBigBore were being "hateful" in discussing the subjects we discussed.
The Iran-run PressTV covering the letter while most of the world media totally ignored the message, while even those few mainstream media that did mention the letter went along with their habit of censoring all the key aspects of his public statements that reflect negatively on Western policies and expose them for what they are;
and instead chose to describe the letter in terms of alleged "sectarian" differences between IRI and KSA as if there's nothing in terms of wisdom, dignity and reasoned argument in his statements!
And a very unique case in point was Iran's supreme leader's public letter to the youth in the West as an attempt to promote a dialogue between Islam and the West, a very positive move by an influential religious leader that the Western corporate media chose to put a full blackout on.
The story says that near the end of his life, Muhammad lay suffering on his couch while Aisha and Hafsa tended him. He called for Ali, but the two women insisted on bringing their fathers, not Ali. Abu Bakr and Umar came, and Muhammad requested that someone take down some dictation so he could leave some last instructions
@Abcd Shias have no essential interest in either post death or pre-death. We are interested in what the Holy Prophet (pbuh) taught and how faithful the Muslim Ummah remained to his injunctions and guidance. To verify that we naturally need to study the full history of early Islam.
And the reason the Shias seem to be so "fixated" on the Ali ibn Abi Talib is simply because based on endless number of hadiths and historical accounts (many of which corroborated by Sunni and common sources), Ali was by far the most virtuous companion of the Holy Prophet with a wisdom, courage, piety, compassion and flawless record that was completely unique among the companions and it was for these unique qualifications that he was appointed by Allah to succeed the Holy Prophet.
But as for your recurring claim of "hatred" in www.al-islam.org and Imam Ali (pbuc)'s sermon, I find that claim disingenuous and misinforming with regards to both especially after I already explained to you that would be a gross mischaracterization of a sermon that is only lamenting and abhorring the disastrous deeds of the preceeding caliphs which are consistent with authentic accounts of history.
Ok, then maybe my advice will be of no value to you. I offer it anyway. You are smart enough to decide whether it is of any value. I suggest that when someone tells you something negative about Allah, or Islam, or Muhammad, you tell them, "For you is your religion, and for me is my religion."
@GreatBigBore My pleasure! But I am only disappointed that this historic production received little to zero coverage in Western corporate media as if they have a vested interested in perpetuating a negative image of Islam and Iran.
Muhammad: The Messenger of God is a 2015 Iranian Islamic epic film directed by Majid Majidi and co-written with Kambuzia Partovi. The film is set in the sixth century where the story revolves around the childhood of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. The film marks the biggest-budget production in Iranian cinema to date. Development of Muhammad: The Messenger of God began in 2007 and Majidi wrote the first draft of the screenplay by 2009. By 2011, a colossal set created in the city of Qom near Tehran was ready for the majority of the film. Several scenes were filmed in South Africa. Throughout the filming...
@GreatBigBore, Based on what I've read and with respect to contextual hints, they must have been living in Mecca and with Abdallah's family, i.e. Abdul Muttalib. This is based on the Arab marriage tradition in which woman joins the family of man. There seems to also be little references to Amina's family and their affairs after Amina's marriage with Abd Allah, while Abdul Muttalib immediately enters the scene after Amina's death without any mention of Muhammad's maternal grandparents.
I see! I'm only glad that I can share my knowledge and understanding of Islam! I understand that to comprehend and embrace God and religion through rational inquiries is really a painstaking job! You know for myself it took almost 6-7 years of study until I could find full confidence in Islam! But it can also be very different for different people. One may research Islam or any other religion for decades but never be convinced about it!
To me, it comes back to compassion. What are we doing with this gigantic military? If we insist on being in other countries, why don't we build schools and hospitals instead of killing people?
@Abcd I don't think we should feel uncomfortable when a person questions our beliefs during an academic and well-intended discussion! I mean if an atheist crossed you in the street and shouted to your face that "Allah is absurd!" well that would be a blatant offense! If a muslim got up in a mosque and shouted the same thing during the speech by a sheikh that would count as outright blasphemy, ...
@Abcd Again, you assume too much about the way I think. As I say, it would be better for you to ask me what I think rather than telling me what I think.
And @GreatBigBore this idea that God needs people originates from your thinking of God as small and like human ... i repeat we need God and not vice versa ! ...Muhammad peace be upon him always proclaimed God to be the greatest !
SubhanAllah that's great ...the Prophet peace be upon him said : whoever sends a blessing on me , Allah will send a tenfold blessing on him

@Abcd Just try to play nice. You seem kind of direct. That's never a good tactic mate. I'm a Sunni muslim but that doesn't mean I go out of my way and start telling people they are wrong. That just breeds hostility. I hope you get my message.
