IMPORTANT: First, sorry for shouting. Second, can we please move the general banter back to where it belongs: The Ink Spot? Let's make this the room for art critique again.
a monsoon typically has a dry and wet phase, so sun and clouds can go together perfectly. DO NOT trust your minds eye! You might think it'll look weird, but you cannot be sure unless you try.
@Vikas No, I'm a front-end developer. Biggest part of my job is converting designs to HTML/CSS. So in that regard, I'm intimately familiar with good and bad design. I have been known to just send designs back to our designer because they looked nice, but they were horrible from a UX perspective.
@Vikas Yes. And the artwork is the real problem for the printer. In Acrobat you can easily just add the bleed setting, but you need some artwork. Fixing a filled background is easy, but if there are images and many shapes it takes some work.
I don't think you should. The fact that their work is rewarded with more money, does not inherently make them better persons -- even if they might think otherwise

@Vincent I judged it based on the satisfaction, peace and feeling that you're contributing to the world somehow, using your skills that you care about. Money is at last for me.
@Vikas I haven't executed on any of my inspiration for the last half year. I used to feel very guilty about that, but these days it's getting easier to cut myself some slack

@johnp Wow, man. Your feedback is like a god-send. I'm certain no one has ever given me such a detailed, concise and helpful critique. I'll do my best to make the most of this.
Apparently, their business workflow was so linked to my thinking, that 2 years later they came back from a different position and with a more flexible offer and we're still working today on better terms.
I won't directly answer the question, I will, instead suggest an alternate workflow. The benefit of this workflow is that it is guaranteed that you will not get this problem.
