Photography 2015 Moderator Election

Welcome all! This room is intended as a place to converse with candidates, discuss moderator traits, etc.

in other news, I'm really a bit surprised that we only have two people running for the mod slot. I would have expected more. Will be an interesting election, but at least there are no bad choices (yet anyway), so whatever happens it will be a good thing

@MikeW ah, I see what you mean. Looking at those, I'd more consider those to be primarily questions about critiquing though. There are a couple of "how could I improve some aspect" type questions, which are focused to the point I don't know that I'd really call them a traditional critique

I for one would like to see more discussion of the art of photography and less on the equipment/gear obsession that we so often find ourselves in. How a moderator could help that desire I am open for ideas. Maybe some of the candidates have ideas???
