@gandalf3 I withdrew from moderator election, I like to see blender.stackexchange succeed but seems there are enough people wanting to help out with moderation - and as you say, I don't have to be a moderator to help out with edits. Also TBH I don't especially want this role, if it helps thats great but if others have time... even better.

@ideasman42 Ok, understood. I personally want to thank you for stepping up when we or rather I needed the help. I particularly liked your resolve to be decisive when closing.. @ideasman42 It's nice to have a dev as one of our moderators, but honestly I'm not sure that it's required. Most of the really cool things you do as a dev+user (e.g. implement features which people ask about here) don't really require you to be a mod. IMO you could still do most of the things which make you stand out as a user, without being a moderator at the same time. It would take some time pressure off you, as there's no way you have much free time ;)
