Alright, so, if one of you decides you want to do a custom game so that you can personally set up the team loadouts, that's perfectly fine, @DMA57361 have done that, and it's made a big difference. Just make sure you agree on what units you're going to get.
If one of your players gets a different squad loadout that gives then an unfair advantage, you may both agree to redo the match with (hopefully) fairer loadouts.
