There once was a doggie from CLE. Who couldn't lift his leg to pee. He's squat down on the ground, and shimmy around, and end up writing some code in C.

Q: Why is TESS' high gain antenna made of undulating BLACK fabric rather than metal?

uhohnote: 1 after I placed the bounty, I think I may have figured it out, but not absolutely sure. If you read through carefully, you might too! In computer networking, IP over Avian Carriers (IPoAC) is a proposal to carry Internet Protocol (IP) traffic by birds such as homing pigeons. IP over Avian Carriers was initially described in RFC 1149, a Request for Comments (RFC) issued by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) written by D. Waitzman and released on 1 April 1990. It is one of several April 1 RFCs. Waitzman described an improvement of his protocol in RFC 2549, IP over Avian Carriers with Quality of Service (1 April 1999). Later, in RFC 6214 released on 1 April 2011, and 13 years after the introduction of IPv6, Carpen...

Before Arduino, the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of Digital Logic moved upon the face of the microcontrollers.

@Tranceducer Remember nobody knows that about you when you ask a question. They judge your experience by what you show in the question. If your question shows you've done a lot of prior research and understand everthing but a couple details, you'll be taken seriously. If your question is scattershot and doesn't show you have background knowledge, it'll be assumed you don't and that might lead to the belief that you're in over your head.

If you need some help with the math, let me know, but that should be enough to get you started! Huh? No, I don't need to read your thesis, I can imagine roughly what it says.

Plan on it taking awhile. In the meantime, get as much experience as you can. Like this fella: ke4nyv.com/picprojects.htm If you wanted to show off something like this to a potential employer, design it so that they can scroll quickly through - very quickly. They want to see that you have demonstrated skills without (them) reading much at all.

I think you'd need 3 of those panels to keep the battery full. Check out Battery University for lots of good info.

@Marla Is there a good reference for induction heating circuits? What I'm finding is the 2 transistor oscillators, which comes across as pretty sketchy to me.

It's like you said the sky is green where you live. It sure is unlikely that the whole sky is green where you live, but I sure don't care enough to go there to prove you wrong.

Fritzing... how generation Z draws schematics. Convention? Colors are pretty. Gone are the days of desoldering germanium transistors and trying to make an AM receiver intentionally. Everything is "a module" now. Don't need to know how it works, just wire it up.
Apr 11, 2017 13:55
I have also seen the "vaporized" extension cords blow up like a balloon. Wires get hot and burn, makes gas. Eventually tripping breaker. But gases remain in the cord "balloon", looks like an anaconda that ate a deer.
