@LeeWoofenden Well, I like that he gets his ideas from only the Word, that is refreshing. One person I DO listen to, always says, what does the Bible actually say, NOT what does it teach?

The answer "it's plain text" is not satisfactory due to the intricacy of your beliefs, and combined with the fruits of "plain text" reading being wildly different results is also not satisfactory.
