@Pedro 1. Both reference sexuality to illustrate a mathematical point. The reference to sexuality is not essential to convey the mathematical content at hand.
2. Sexuality, being an inherently gendered concept, can cause issues with some people - precisely the point of the meta post which discusses this.
3. Both answers received a (in my opinion) disproportionate amount of upvotes when compared to other answers to the same question - a fact which can partially be attributed to the fact they elicited some kind of an emotional response. One answer didn't provide essentially new mathematical c
