I personally think anyone who made a large contribution of time to a site as a mod, and then stepped down, should have an outline of a diamond or something

@DA. @yisela @Dominic @DA. You're all much too kind. I appreciate the thoughts more than I can say. I take a lot of satisfaction in the fact that I was able to help push GD up to where it is now. I'll still be around, though. :)

@AlanGilbertson You have done an amazing job, always, and are one of the main reasons I got engaged with the site and eventually wanted to become a mod. I really think you should keep your diamond. You could have just stated your name and I'm sure everyone would have voted, no need for self-promotion. But I respect your decision, and hope to you see you around A LOT.

@RandomO'Reilly My contribution was helping the beta gain enough momentum to be self-sustaining, and hopefully providing a little encouragement along the way. Besides, my Scottish upbringing is antithetical to electioneering, far less self-nomination. That's not false modesty, it's just a strong aversion to self-promotion, taught well in childhood and not easily put aside.
