One related bug (which might be solvable in a similar way): If there are too many comments so some are not displayed (example), the "... more comments" link gets changed to "Kommentieren" (in german), and does not show the additional comments when clicked.

Actually, no. After successfully closing, it shows "Schließe" (close) instead of some translation of "reopen".

Ok so - localising certain parts are hard because they're not necessarily direct text replacements but cutting out and altering html. I'm thinking about this - anyone got any suggestions for solutions?

Ok so GreaseMonkey, Firebug and NoScript aren't playing nicely together; I might have to debug this on chrome instead.
