In day 1 of home-schooling, we managed to put together a brass trio version of "Don't Stop Believing." My new personal project is to get good enough at recording/mixing/editing on the home computer s.t. I can record and upload for y'all to see.
I don't remember the last time I was so happy =)

"She only had some mild coronavirus symptoms, so we tested her and she was positive, but we did very little, she recovered on her own," Sicbaldi added.

Doctors say her case impressed them so much that they decided to study it deeper.

"We got serological samples, she is the first patient we know that might have gone through the ā€˜Spanish flu’ since she was born in 1917," Sicbaldi explained, referring to th

The fanfiction platform Archive of Our Own (AKA AO3, winner of the 2019 Hugo Award for Best Related Work) had thirty million more visitors than it predicted during March, and is having to adjust how it caches non-logged-in users so it can continue to operate. Fanfiction is awesome and affirming, don't sleep on it people!

This is a calm video of a guy painting a railroad track and talking about the place and what it's like to paint there. He closes with some reassuring words imagining going back out after the pandemic lockdown is over.

So I'll admit it: I grew up on Shake'n'Bake, and I love it. Have for decades.
The grocery store was out of Shake'n'Bake last week.
We grabbed four ingredients from the pantry, made our own version, and holy crap was it so much better!
Thank you, CoViD, for this tiny little bright spot.

So it's finally official: North Queensland (Australia) has finally reached an official quarantine status: mandatory masks in public for all over the age of 12. That doesn't sound like good news, but the response I have seen has been very positive, everyone is taking it very seriously, which makes me feel safe and happy for everyone's health.
