Analyzing (and reconstructing the correct text of) and translating a Lingala song

Asking language-specific questions is Off-Topic, IIRC, but nothing is off-topic in chat, so this room is basically a way to get help in figuring out what a certain Lingala song means, and how the meaning is conveyed through the words. I don't just trust online translations because there is oscillations between those I have seen, and even the text presents oscillations across sites.
