@skiwi I'd rather smoke brains than documentation.
Great, getting random failures when running JavaFX under Travis CI

Q: Convert Extension methods to generic methods

RobertI was looking at some linq queries with multiple join statements. I was thinking that they could be cleaned up using extension methods that hide away the join / where statements. For Example: (from myObject in _context.MyObject join myObjectGroupName in _context.MyObjectGroupNames on myObject.T...

@Jamal I don't think your edit was correct. Some fun should be allowed! — Pinoniq 8 hours ago
Fun? I would call that noise.
I agree,
@Malachi - should probably use the Ban Hammer chat room to discuss mods.se questions.

Q: Linked List pointer

Shashank GauravI know this is a simple doubt but can anyone explain me how does this line works? Node* newNode = new Node();

@rolfl I am not so impressed with a majority of the mods that I have met outside of Code Review, so those comments are more for comparing how I feel to what others here think about it as well?
@CaptainObvious Interesting...
some of the users in the Ban Hammer are proving to be helpful

@Malachi Mod culture is not what I thought it was before I was 'invited in'. It turns out that mods are just people who are generous with their time, and don't like being bashed around for doing an often thankless job ;-)

What I can say is interesting about the Ban Hammer is....
that there are a lot of mods in there, and they are mixing with people who often bash mods.
If you are aware of some of the background on some of th eother sites, you will see that there are personalities in there who are, most of the time, enemies.
There is an uncomfortable 'truce' in the ban hammer.
The mods.se site is going to be a very interesting thing to watch.
@rolfl stargree
I see what you are saying. I do not like bashing mods personally, I know that there are good ones and bad ones, but I don't necessarily know how to tell them apart, I know how to tell if I like a person, but going a step further to tell if they are a good mod or not is something totally different
@Malachi stargreed.
