@Krazer Serial upvoting again (6 votes this time). It's consistent with being the same guy I flagged. If the votes get cancelled I'll tell you at that time (should be 3:00 UTC or so) whether it's still consistent.

Actually, there are 2 instances of it in my rep history, one 50 minutes ago, and the other one 22 hours ago. I suspect I know who the other one is though, and I don't think that one will be cancelled.

It seems to me like the guy is deliberately upvoting questions. All of the serially upvoted posts I've seen by this guy were questions. I found 2 questions by kuwaly that were upvoted at about the same time as my posts, but I can't find any others among the top users for the week at approximately the same time, so I think I might be the only one targeted this time.

Based on that behavior and also looking at the user's info, I strongly suspect they are trying to game the Electorate badge. Quite possibly with a bot, since the votes are very consistently separated by 3 seconds.

@Krazer Some of them don't get reversed. In each case I've had a couple that stuck even when they were part of the string of votes. Most don't, but his number of question votes has still increased over the past few days. I've been following the user's other accounts as well over the course of the week and noticed similar patterns, and he's made it to 600 question votes on a few of them.

Also, just looking at the number of votes he's cast on other sites over the past 2 days, it's hard for me to believe that he's active enough on all of them to be reading all of those posts.

If you look at his other accounts. All of them show a high ratio of question upvotes to answer upvotes. He tends to stop upvoting questions once he's reached 600 upvotes (check any of the sites that he has a gold badge on other than SO, as they're all Electorate badges). He also has a high number of votes recently. I count 284 votes across 5 sites for the week. Only one has Electorate, and he stopped voting after he got it.

Hmm you're right.

On 5 of the 6 sites where he has Electorate (all but SO) he stopped upvoting soon after 600 question upvotes. The most he has on any of those is 613.

Also, all of the badges are recent, suggesting that this trend started fairly recently (which is consistent with what we observed, namely that it started for us on Saturday)

Anyway, I think the evidence is rather strong. The supermods should be able to find more info quickly, like how many of his votes were cancelled recently on other sites. But the evidence that he's gaming the electorate badge network-wide and that he's serially upvoting here seem pretty strong in my opinion.

Actually, I missed SU, where he has 618 question votes. So that's 6/7.
