Q: Where did Pierre 303 go? He was an all-star!

Jim G.@Rachel just pointed it out this morning. Pierre 303's account is gone! What happened to him? Was he at odds with the way Stack Exchange was being run? He was an all-star! The departure of a user of his caliber is a significant loss for this community! Can anyone explain? EDIT: If Pierre choo...

It kind of sucks, that two "all-stars" left the site. I fully support the way this site is going right now, but I would like to find a half-way point. What I mean is this:
I'm pretty sure (correct me if I'm wrong) that someone proposed another site on Area51 based on what Programmers used to be. Obviously, if he/she did, it was rejected quickly, since I can't find it.
So obviously SE, as we knew from before, is not going to put up with another site about "Programmers", and I completely agree. But, I also agree with the fact that those OT questions get a lot more views, and are very popular.
So, my idea is to think of and create a site that agrees with SE rules as well as those popular questions, as best as possible.
I'm gonna be brainstorming, ping me if you're interested.
