Has anyone had issues on using Empathy for facebook chat?

I had it working fine for a few weeks and the suddenly I started getting intermitently disconnected

@iSeth I'm not sure as I have it on work and I'm at home right now. =/ (it's the preinstalled version, but I'm no sure if it has been updated or not. I do update constantly).

but not now in 12.10

Wha happens is: I have "people near me", gtalk and facebook accounts configured. Only the fb account gets disconnected after about 20 seconds, then reconnects, then drops, then reconnects, then...
I asked a question about it, but no answers or comments =/

Hmmm.
It appeared for the 1st time last friday, I have Ubuntu only on work. I'll check Monday and see if the issue still persists.

@iSeth it's probably some host validation thing since they can't send "captchas" over xmpp to keep people from bruting or something. try logging in directly to the webpage, then xmpp from the same ip. just a guess
