Am I the only one who's genuinely disappointed that external ExpressCard GPUs never materialized? Those things were supposed to run like a PCI-E bus, they should have been able to handle a minimal GPU...
other than those ridiculous outside-the-computer video card box things that cropped up here and there which basically cost the same as a computer
or PC-Card or whatever they called those post-PCMCIA slots that you don't even see on laptops anymore
