@senshin Yes we certainly see those now and then both on Christianity and Biblical Hermeneutics where I also mod. In both places we've pretty much settled on the idea that they are off topic. The why is a littly different in each case though.
On BH the issue is that they are really more doctrinal and opinion based than they are textual.
On C the issue has more to do with the fact that they tend to be what we call "truth" questions: the "who is really right here" kind that is just not constructive in the context of a site without a set doctrinal oversight.
The majority of them boil down to "I have this [crazy] idea, am I right and everybody else wrong". The only way they end up being on topic for us is if some group actually holds such an interpretation and the question is specifically about that group.
