so every time that a task is toggled from on to off I want it to record the start, stop, duration, weight, and weghtedduration
:)
yes, but you need to tell me in human readable text how to calculate those weights :P
oh lol... ok
well so here's what happens...
I press a button
the weighted value is now one, becuase there's nothing else going on...
now i press a second button in a deta(t1) amount of time
now the weight of the first is delta(t1)*1 / (current time - start time)
the second button weight is nothing becuase at that instant it just started
now let's say that i press the first button, thus turning it off
this was done a delta(t2) amount of time (not exactly the same as delta(t1))
so for the first button the weighted value is: [delta(t1) * (1/1) + delta(t2) * (1/2)]/(stoptime - starttime)]
that make sense?
and the second button is now currently at [delta(t2) * (1/2)]/(current time - start time)
we don't exactly need to calculate the current weighted values, but we do need to then save the time that is passed between each button press
so my though process is something like this....
well first does that all make sense? @IvoFlipse
