I got a little further on my trench this week

just got back from the big blue box store
carpet all pulled up, sub floor screwed down (no more squeaks), and walls being prepped for painting

The drywall has never been right since I pulled off some mirrored tiles that were glued on years ago (paper facing pulled off with the glue), so I decided to mud the heck out of the thing to try to smooth it out. This is going to be a sanding nightmare.

If the outlets weren't so close to the corner, I'd be tempted to just add another layer of drywall on top.
It's a common wall, fire rated, so I'm avoiding pulling it down.

I've picked up a new chandelier, paint, crown molding, and some caulk, so I should be having a fun weekend.
(Grrr... dang you SE maintenance window in the middle of PUT.)
Well, time for me to unload the rest of the stuff from the car since I ran inside so fast for PUT, so I'll close up.
