@ThomasMcDonald Here's a 3 hour long video of our adventures in crashing the server (lesser towards the end). We managed to crash and lag it multiple times, but only with ridiculous situations that most servers couldn't handle.

That was on the test server, of course. And also, when we first got it and it was running with the exact same configuration as the current server, it ran smooth as butter.

@RhysW You need the Ultimate 1.1.2 modpack, and to be whitelisted. You'll have to ping one of the mods for whitelisting though (@fredley can do that for example)

@M'vy I've got an egg farm, not a chicken farm... simply have a 6x3 pen where I keep a bunch of chickens, and two transposers in the floor (each in the middle of their 3x3 part of the pen). I pulse the transposers once a minute, which sucks up everything in a 3x3 area, and sticks it in a barrel

I'm kinda lazily working on a lot of soul shards, including a chicken shard, but it's slow going so far.

The test server's SSD got installed by the datacenter and the host has moved the test server onto the SSD. :D

The limiting factor was RAM. Whenever we caused millions of items to be created (several nukes) the server would run out of RAM and come to a crawl.

To be expected, though.

@NightExcessive I noticed the dancing items made it start to slow down, but hopefully we won't have a situation with 1000s of items flying out of pipes.

does anyone know if the rod of nine hells is researchable in this version of thaumcraft? It's in NEI, but when I try researching with the aspects it requires, I get nothing

hm, seems that it's a creative only weapon, even though it has a recipe on the thaumcraft wiki. weird

@Jochem I noticed you're working on soul shards, there is a spider soul shard in my base(the volcano near the netherportal and the twilight forest portal)

a T5 one

You can use that to quickly spawn spiders for your own shard, or use it over there :)
