Q: "errno 5 - input/output error" when trying to install

Today I downloaded Ubuntu for my laptop. It runs great from a bootable usb, but when I tried to install it, I've got the "errno 5 - input/output error". I tried everything to install it on my laptop, but nothing works (also re-download the iso).

Q: What should I do when a issue is solved but brings me a new issue in the same context?

Trying to install from source a program I get an error in the ./configure command. I created a question (here) with this error and it was correctly answered and this error is now gone. But after that, in the same command, I get new/different errors. So, what should I do in such a case?
