there is a lot of extra stuff in the file, basically everything I tried, there are sections with the final versions, and some icon experiments on the top left. So you can pick based on the application.
I am new to Linux and Ubuntu. Having just installed 12.10 I notice that I get fuzzy text and icons that change when I move my mouse over them. See picture below as an example. What could be wrong and what can I do to fix it? I have a NVIDIA Quadro 600 graphics card.
And when I got home today, my laptop was turned upside down like someone had been taking the underside off while I was away...that would have been more disconcerting without luks and a LONG passphrase

yeah i googled it. that's interesting, but i don't think i'll be satisfied until i can wear my laptop as a shirt and have a retractable touchscreen or holo-screen pop out of my arm

Okay Ive been trying to get obuntu to work for literally days on my new g5 powermac. I read up some things but im new to macs. Anyway ive downloaded the Iso file, burnit it to the cd through diskimage, and when i restart and hold C it just gives me a huge spam of white words on a black background...
