He's pulling up my Google+ profile now. I used to take pictures for my co-curricula activity, and upload them on Picasa. When G+ was launched the photos got merged into my G+ account
He's looking at them now. The photos are all universally awful, because 1. I'm a crappy photographer and 2. The places where I'm asked to shoot at are usually also the places with very poor lighting (competition venues, prize giving ceremonies)
I admit to being wrong. It's not so much that it's hard getting the first hundred reps, it's hard getting the first ten reputation points to begin with.

I don't see why you should even consider the people who are "just passing by". Remember that the end goal for SE sites is to have ~95% of traffic driven by search engines.
Doesn't mean 95% of them are going to be unregistered, but it should be close

Honestly Ingress isn't great, because once you are at the game landmarks, it's just a matter of tapping buttons until you can tap no more, there's nothing else to it and no skill involved.
The fun part is, with both our secretary/administrative assistants calling in, the person with the least seniority gets to answer phones. Want to guess who that is?

Sometimes, if it's late and you don't feel like shovelling, you just backup, ram the drifts as hard as you can, and either you get through, or you get stuck. Either way, shovelling is for another day.

I ran into that with some event wiring not working properly once. Was ready to chuck my computer out the window, as it looked like it was failing silently.
