This is off topic, but also doesn't need to be addressed at a mod, but I didn't want to post on meta either.
We have lots of 'wares, like malware, spyware, scareware, adware etc.. Is there a word which encompasses all of these, like how 'nix is used for linux, unix etc?
Or, can some one tell me if this would be on topic at meta?

@DaveRook Anything to discuss with the community, about the site, is on topic for Meta
As for your question, I tend to edit out the "I'm a downloader" part of questions, unless it's actually supposed to be part of the question

@greggmcfg Sorry Greg but we can't migrate questions older than 60 days. Typically we don't encourage reposting, but there's little we can do now - you can repost on Server Fault, if you wish I'll close the question as offtopic on Super User with a link to the Server Fault question
