No, everyone can run (well, there's some minimal rep requirement, but almost everyone). The nominations are a week long, so I guess they figure that's enough time for people to think about it

There's a week of nominations, 4 days for the primary, and 3 days for the election. (You can read about the different phases in the SO election)

We probably won't have enough people to bother with a primary, and we might not even have the election if there's few enough nominations

No, I wasn't really thinking about it. Probably. I assume Miguel isn't, and Maciej seems unlikely; it'll be interesting to see how many nominations we end up having

Q: Remapping caps-lock to escape, and menu to compose, on the linux console

When running X I use a .xmodmaprc to remap certain keys thusly: clear Lock keysym Caps_Lock = Escape ! Remap the menu key as Compose keysym Menu = Multi_key How can I accomplish the same things on the console?
