I actually spent some extra time the other day to make sure if a Sand Wasp runs away from you, and you start chasing the wasp, it doesn't turn and shoot 4 bees in your face (hopefully that makes 1.0.3)

@fbueckert Eh, there's no real 'best effect' here. Everything in Diablo is so thoroughly random that there's no real point in 'optimizing' in terms of what you want. It's better to figure out how to get the most out of what you have.

But your question makes no sense, you want a game to control your computer? Or are you just looking for software that you can make macros on or what not?

@deathApril General-purpose programs essentially work by either emulating key presses or repurposing your operating system's accessibility APIs, which may or may not work for games. You could try something like AutoHotKey; otherwise, it's probably going to depend on the game's ability to be modded (i.e., good luck with SCII)

@deathApril Actually reading your question what you are looking for is a game trainer, something that will play the game for you when you click a single button... and thats not something I can or will help you with :)

@MarkTrapp autohotkey does not have access to the game API, i don't want to write a whole new complicated program, just a few lines to indicate "place this building somewhere in my base"..

@deathApril well like I said, it's very hard—if not impossible in some circumstances—to brute force macroing; the application has to respond to whatever available APIs there are. If they don't, the best you're likely going to find is a hardware/firmware based macro solution, like the G15 keyboard

@James i am looking for such a game that would allow it and encourage it and be build to accomodate this - the word "strategy" when talking about RTS is a laught IMO,, i would like to be able to think in big ;)

@deathApril Any RTS that allows you access to its AI API would be able to do this, You are basically writting the AI for the game with what you want.. However I do -not- know of a game that allows that.. I remember reading something about the Age Of games, but I do not think we ever got access to their editors, it was more of just how they did it.

@Oak I added a comment explaining what's going on with elemental damage. TL;DR: it comes last, so you need to subtract it before adding the ruby bonus.

@James even wow has autoattack and autorun, but yes, nothing more is allowed to automate - it's kind of ok to balance multiplayer game in a way that does not allow automation,, but it's a different thing not to allow automation mode for a strategy game (achievements- and leadeboard-off) - but it looks like i might be the only one who thinks so ;)

And besides, for RTS's, the whole point is to do it yourself.

If a computer is doing parts for you, why are you there?
