Also, I'm too used to working in PuTTy, so I always forget to press ctrl+c to copy things outside of it. Almost pasted several lines of code into chat.
It was python mind you, so it would obviously brighten everyone's day since Python can bring nothing but joy into peoples lives.
Many games like Skyrim or Saints Row 3 have performance detection included. Whenever I run it, the suggested graphics settings are "Ultra", "Maximum", etc., but when running the game on that settings, it lags like hell and is unplayable. Even medium graphics settings are often lagging.
Also, pag...
@Mana: So after linking that misery of others comment it resulted in me reading through the chat log during on of the IPL tournaments... I really need to watch some Starcraft 2 now.
I thought there was a reason why the game let you create potions that let you restore magicka? I mean if you are playing mage style you think restore magicka potions would be a large part of your inventory.
I can't tell fi that's an answer or not.
I just agreed with a flag saying it wasn't, but now I think it might be.
Are you suggestion the OP should use magicka potions for mana upkeep? If so, you should modify your question to make that more clear. Right now it's difficult to tell whether your offering this as a solution to the OPs problem or just requesting more information about their problem. — Wipqozn5 secs ago
Just to formally document the exact policies we have in place to remove old abandoned / dead questions:
If the question is more than 30 days old, and ...
has -1 or lower score
has no answers
is not locked

If the question is more than 365 days old, and ....
@Wipqozn you know everything's better with an interrobang. besides, I'm pretty sure I was bribed, so you can't get that mad at me. you always knew I was corrupt.
you haven't been making your "mod protection" payments.

@Wipqozn Don't bother updating values for tags, it's not worth it. Several values change, sometimes significantly, whenever a tag is removed, as I always remove all the bad tags from a question.
@fredley Yes. That's to be expected. That's why I didn't bother putting that many tags into the question when I first made it. I knew we would find plenty during the clean up itself.
@FAE no no no, you should... donate it to the agent86 fund for agent86 greatness. agent86s in your area may not be as great as they could be - only you (and anyone else with money) can help fix this growing problem.
@IanPugsley Ooooh really? My main concern is that I'm a glasses wearer and I usually rest my glasses above my headphones so they don't squish between my ears and pinch.\
@IanPugsley Ah okay, well that's good to hear at least. I'm soooooort of tempted for a G19, but I already have a G15 and I'm not sure it's really worth the upgrade for €115. But... I could make my keyboard purple then...
I've been thinking about getting a mouse for gaming, but I was looking at the Razer Naga rather than the Logitech stuff.
@FAE it's also like 35% off retail on the logitech website, which I don't know if it's any different in the EU, but over here that's not always a great deal.
one company I worked for gave us like 40% off their products, but they charged us list price so typically I could drive over to best buy and get a better deal than my employee discount
My mines are filled with torches, properly lit, but zombies keep spawning there. I left the ladder exposed and they ambushed me from behind killing my dude. How do I stop it from happening?
Ugh, I'm having a problem with chat today in that it's not staying at the bottom unless lazers posts or I post... when other people post, it doesn't scroll. Argh.
Also, if you try out the Naga let me know how it is. I was looking at it myself. I like Logitech, but I find that G700 doesn't have enough buttons for some games (specifically MMOs).
@IanPugsley This... would be good. And also solve my front panel audio issues. And solve the problem where I have to switch my 5.1 surround speakers to stereo every time I plug my headphones in so I don't lose sound...
@FAE yeah, that's my problem with the G700. It's an excellent mouse, but I find that the side buttons are the only ones that are good for gaming. Which is great, but there are only four of them. That's fine for a lot of games, but when I'm playing something like GW it just isn't enough.
@LessPop_MoreFizz These are the times I'm glad I use NoScript, so I actually have to allow something in order to see comments. Otherwise, they just don't exist. I've found I'm often happier this way.
I play a Demon Hunter with high DPS but average defense. I usually rely on Caltrops, Vault and the Templar to evade enemies, but I can usually take a few strikes if need be.
However, Rakanoth, the melee boss towards the beginning of act 4 (in the Library of Fate, just off the Gardens of Hope 1st...
@fbueckert It's not necessarily bad, but it looks like the answers could be a lot better if they were edited into a single comprehensive answer isn't of been one liner fragments like it is now
@fbueckert Protecting the question seems like it could be a good idea. Just flag it for attention by a mod, and suggest it's protected to prevent more crappy answers by 1-rep users.
@Wipqozn The thing is, none of the answers are delete worthy under current guidelines, so if you protect it there is a possibility you'll hurt the question
@Wipqozn The new answers actually do answer the question. The problem is that most of them are scattered suggestions like "hey, you could try this instead" or "the accepted answer didn't cover this"
I played Minecraft Pocket Edition survival mode for the first time and noticed the only mobs that were there was animals and zombies will Mojang put the other mobs in Minecraft Pocket Edition? It's just not Minecraft without creepers.
I know Blizzard made an app for World of Warcrafts auction house, but have they done this for Diablo 3 as well? I checked my Iphone to no such luck, but since I don't have a Droid or Ipad, I wasn't sure if it was released for one of those platforms. If the app does exist is it free, have a 1 ti...

@fbueckert It was probably something like, "Wow this shoplifting thing has really slowed down my meth intake...how can I fix that?" Cue macgyver meth making.
Last night I noticed that almost every champion/rare pack I came across had Mortar as one of their prefixes. I believe, out of the dozen or two I fought, only 3-4 packs did not have Mortar.
It seemed like more than half had Plagued.
Yet only two had illusionist. Only one had Horde. Only one ...
@FAE most of these userscripts bypass rep requirements through the use of the public api, which will tell you more information that you're really supposed to know
for example, you're not supposed to be able to know upvote/downvote counts on questions until a certain rep threshold, but it's all available in the API
@fbueckert I was subscribed for 4.5 years before I stopped, and I never dropped my sub once during that time. But after they rolled out the store, it really felt like there was less value in being VIP. :/
@FAE I'm not a fan of how you have to "buy" specific features to unlock them permanently. I do like the things they add for VIP members, though. Signature story arcs are quite nice.
@fbueckert I have 4,500+ hours in that game, 31 characters, 10 of which are 50's. I was also a huge badge whore and was in the top 100 for Virtue for that for quite a while.
It seems to me that the vast majority of ITG questions are asked by brand new users, I daresay people are making accounts specifically to ask these questions. I think personally that this is an excellent way to bring new people to the site.
The problem is with their inexperience with how we do ...
@fbueckert SSA's were pretty good, but I feel like the price points for the new powersets that you had to buy whether you were VIP or not were a bit too high, and that the cosmetic costs (that German Shepherd...) were definitely too high.
They used to sell tokens which controlled how many dungeons you could play in the course of a week, but they finally decided to scrap that system about a year ago.
@fbueckert I sort of want to go back sometimes, but the way they handle stuff makes me not want to give them any money anymore, and that makes me sad, because I was very very happy to do so before. I'd purchased every single super booster pack and everything. :(
@fbueckert It provides less value than what it did before in their old subscription system. Now, the monthly stipend that you get doesn't even cover purchasing a new powerset. Mainly, it's for the VIPs/subscribers that have been subscribing for many years that it has the least value for, which, honestly, is a bit backwards, considering the amount of money that the oldest vets have spent over the years.
@FAE It doesn't seem like there's enough in the shop to justify spending my points on, so the only thing I really get is powersets. I dislike purchasing consumables.
@fbueckert It costs around half (circa $550 or so in comparison to $1,000+) to buy your way to tier 9, which is where the 6-7 year vets started out at. Also, the cost inflation of the Super Booster stuff really doesn't sit well with me.
@fbueckert Likewise, and I really don't like the new packs where you only have a chance to get the AT-specific IOs and costume parts. :/ If there were an ingame method to get those, even if it were with Incarnate stuff, I'd be more okay with it. Also, the store IOs are categorically better than the IOs in game because they have a larger range at which they can be used, which I think is vastly unfair.
@FAE Wait, you're complaining that it costs less for a new person to reach the same level of rewards as a seven year vet, and then you turn around and complain that the booster packs in general now cost more than they did before.
@FAE If you don't like this, you'll really not like Star Trek Online. If you want to see pay-to-win, there's a shining example.
@FAE There are IOs that are better than what can be crafted?
For example, you get a LotG Defense from the store and it's usable from a range of 25-50. This means that you can use it when exemplaring down to level 22 and you also get the bonus of the storebought IO scaling in level. You can't get that same functionality from IOs ingame at all.
@fbueckert Yes, because it is unfair to those who came late to the game. They're being unfair to both vets and new players.
