@GraceNote they released the enhanced edition for PC, and also for xbox 360. In celebration of the 360 release, they gave away 1,000 copies to people who were willing to review the game, and I was one of the lucky "winners."

@FAE Only about 6 months too late. For all their talk of "We aren't competing with Diablo 3", I think they are, at least with some people. I know I'm going to focus on D3 for now, and will maybe pick up Torchlight 2 when it hits Christmas sale levels.

I'm hoping to get Torchlight II solely because I'm not required to have an internet connection to play it. I will never forgive Blizzard for that. Kills Diablo 3 for me.

@FAE I'm not saying it will fail completely. I'm saying that 6 months ago, they would've been able to sell to people like me that were itching for D3 which still had no timeline. Now, not so much. I'm sure it will still do fine.

I don't have enough play time to justify buying both at full price, and my preference is for D3.
