If anyone is curious about how Quantitative Finance is doing in comparison, we have far more visitors than those sites, plus we keep growing at a slow but steady pace (moderators can see the traffic logs).
Also, the noob-issue is finally settling down. For many months there, about a third of questions were getting closed. They were of the "How do I become a quant?" and "Where can I find free data online?" variety. We still get some real winners, but it's gotten a lot calmer in the past few months.
