I almost snapped up a gen2 intel drive, but wanted to wait till the rev 3 announcement.
The original reports 6 months ago implied that they were going to cut prices too at the size price points. I need a least 160gb, if not 256gb to make this move worth it.
I'm not too worried about price, but $400 for 160gb was pushing it.
It was the one thing I held off on with a new build just to evaluate to 4000 different models out there. Because of the extreme differences in performance between SSD's, I wanted more time to research and check out what the time lines were to be released once I realized I would find anything less than 160gb annoying

It is messy, and rather limited, and has a rather amusing way of dealing with problems (i.e. crashing horribly without letting you recover or save anything) but it is a nice way to provide a quick and dirty frontend to some cludge of data...
Rather worryingly I even used it to make a frontend for a document scanner...
using Microsoft Office VBA you can get control of a lot of stuff in Windows, including scanners, other parts of Office and all sorts of things that provide a COM automation object.
The worst part of it was that the software that was provided with the scanner was so horrible that my frontend was actually a good alternative...
Now I know a bit of Python I can use that to do everything instead, it's much cleaner than using Access
I suspect that if any real programmer had seen how my scanner actually worked in Access then they would have either run screaming for the hills or had to kill me for "community service"
