To the community: I tend to lose my temper easily and to allow myself to act on emotion. The right thing to do in situations like this is to cool down first and to not act until that's happened. As a result of my failure to do so, I have made several erroneous decisions while reviewing and moderating content on this site and set a poor example for the community to follow. I hereby apologize for doing so, and will take steps to ensure that I moderate calmly and patiently at all times.

Nearly a year of work, and it seems I'm just getting started...

I've made some progress, but not as much as I'd like and I still act on emotion more often than I'd like :\

The community here expects me to meaningfully improve my conduct, and I don't want to let anyone down. I'll never forsake my promise.

It's only recently that I've put serious work into thinking before acting, but even so, I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

They should be flagged with "Other" and explained if they're not golfed. "Not an Answer" is for blatantly non-answers like "my cat ate a bug on thursday. can I feed it avocad tomorrow?"
