It got deleted almost instantly, so I think "k" is justifiable.
@undo @ArtOfCode Can we have a button to feed back "f" to Smokey in the user script?

We can, technically, it's just a question of how much effort it takes to do

And whether it's worth it

I'd rather not try doing something, then spend the next three days fixing it again
I don't currently have that kinda time available

^ That looks like it could be a true violation, especially if that first report received a larger backoff than 10 seconds.
@SmokeDetector k

@Andy nope - first one was 10 seconds. 13:12:01-13:12:11, then 4 seconds later 13:12:15-13:12:25

There should be 3 requests. A request that had a backoff. The first one above violated that backoff then the second one above
Was the backoff on the first one above actually 10 seconds, or was it extended because it was the second violation

Eh?
The backoff messages are posted in response to getting a backoff response from the API, not in response to a violation

The first report above violated a backoff that was already in place. There was something before that report that had a backoff. What request was that?
Ah

@Andy I don't see any violation

1:24 PM
My mistake. I thought those were only posted when we violated the backoff

We get this when we actually violate a backoff:
Sep 5 at 11:37, by SmokeDetector

room topic changed to Charcoal HQ: Where diamonds are made and smoke is detected. Andy's "79170 comments flagged, 78861 deemed helpful" is crazy. Oneboxes are awesome. Handy links: erwaysoftware.com/blaze, github.com/Charcoal-SE [lizards] [panic-driven-development] [plastic-knives]
Because we don't do much hacking of stuff anymore.

rather poor spam

quite funny, on my post :D
didn't know I wrote spam seeding questions...

You know what we do to spam seeders...

Tunaki's account nuked, spam and NAA all over the place, multiple instances of instantaneous combustion among flaggers, rising rotten fish smell

7:29 PM
I think you're looking for 'spontaneous' :P
although instantaneous is a good picture too

instantaneous combustion == explosion

Now I actually prefer instantaneous. Also I barely had any coffee today, I basically sleepwalked through.

No coffee and it is 9.30PM? You must have set a record.

@undo Timeline is available for regular (non-moderator) users too, so it's not a part of moderator tools.

@Gothdo I'm going to disagree there. It's somewhat recently been opened up to mortals, but it still started as a moderator tool and is still used, primarily, as a moderator tool.
For the purposes of categorization on the SE side, it makes sense to treat this as an enhancement to diamond tools.

There is a user script to add the link for us mere mortals

Q: Add Timeline and Revisions Links

Jeff Mercado Screenshot About This is a simple Greasemonkey script which adds both timeline and revision links to questions and answers in many of the different question views. Within a question view, a timeline link as added to the question and revisions links are conditionally added to all post...

There are about 6 or 7 such scripts.

hey I have one also!! :(

Bah. Mine is the best one. I'm not biased. ;)

@undo If you are a mod :)

7:45 PM
lets see who Smokey blames the first, that person has the best script

@DavidPostill Some of it is mod-only, but it'd be easy to flip a bit on it to make it work on non-mod sites.
Just remove the red row
Although I guess ya'll still have the protect button anyway. Mods lose that by default, which is sad.

@undo The timeline has always been publically available. However, previously the normal timeline and the moderator timeline were two different things -- now they share the same code, I believe.

@WaiHaLee IMO it's just NAA.

@Gothdo coming to think of it, it does say thanks many many times - most likely is NAA.
