Lunchtime memories
------------------
Lunch at the Grand Hotel. It sounded extravagant, and once upon a time it would have been. When the hotel stood tall and splendid upon the seaside promenade, and the rich American tourists came in their droves to spend their nights there between their days of enjoying the English summer sunshine. Prices had been sky-high, and James had only ever been there once, for a slap-up lunch on his first real date. He still held fond memories of that time, of his years of carefree innocence, now gone forever.
