@Chippies Worth noting is the free-with-rebate Destiny is the base game. So... it's effectively 5% of the content that's in the game now. Otherwise, it's $60 for Destiny + All Expansions, which is the main way they sell the game now.

@Chippies Basically, what happened was Destiny released for $60 + $25 season pass. Then, when the third expansion was releasing, they decided to bundle it with Destiny + other two DLCs for $60.

the stuff in destiny is hardly optional when everyone else is playing that "optional" stuff

same with Diablo 3

I played 90% of destiny solo

the expansion in D3 is not optional, because no one plays base game

and due to the way its setup, even people with all the DLC keep returning to the old stuff.

But the main problem was that the 3rd expansion made a ton of content unplayable if you only have the base game.

A ton of content that was originally playable, I should say.

You can get kills pretty quick if you know what you're doing but most people can get out of the way

Also they can interfere with your driving
