I assume that yuri romance will be more intricate and complex than yaoi, and if readers are looking at male bodies, they don't have reason to stick only to yaoi.

I see, I don't really understand where the assumption comes from, but I've never read any yaoi/yuri manga, so I can't really argue it either way, just looking at it from a neutral perspective

I guess female-female relationships are portrayed in more detail or are worked out more deeply than male-male relationships in manga, again not sure why, since either party should have an equal interest in the relationship of their manga, since they are the one writing about it
