@ProgramFOX It seems that the logic of nested quotes check is directed at Markdown, but Smokey parses HTML. This is what triggered the fp above: <p>Set your breakpoints, then click <strong>Run</strong> > <strong>Run With</strong> > <strong>PHP (cli)</strong> to start the debugger and PHP CLI script.</p>
The regex (>\s+){2,} will only catch nested quotes if they are unparsed. E.g. visit here >>> > http would trigger it, which is a good thing.
But the actual, parsed, nested quotes would be something like <blockquote>[^\/]*<blockquote>
I.e., two <blockquote> tags with no closing tags between them.
@hichris123, I know you were playing with the dumps a while ago. Did you every import everything into MySQL? If so, did you have weird data issues with a couple of the files?
For example, in Comments.xml, did you get UserID fields with names instead of ints (but only rarely) or scores that look like this: 28340961547257780000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 or +101000000000000
