@iKlsR is it Thursday yet?
yesterday, by iKlsR
@GiantCowFilms Thursday is good so in a day or so, I wan't to do something first so just hold on a bit longer.

@someonewithpc lol you can't wait

Not really no

@gandalf3 I just found an improvement of my workflow Shift-RMB merges the vertices

@stacker Not for me...?
@stacker Are you sure it's not just selecting both of them?

Hm have you enabled both red boxes in the question`?

Yes
It snaps, but they are still separate vertices
Unless auto-merge is enabled

@gandalf3 Ooops, maybe I need tod ouble check this
@gandalf3 Sorry I don't find the auto merge option in the user prefs

@stacker It's in 3D view > header:
^^ with that enabled vertices moved to the same location will be merged

10:18 PM
This one was not enabled while I was doing this. I feel like a windows user who discover ed the clipboard after 10 years.

lol
Have you found out if they were being merged or selected?
I often use vertex snapping + auto merge, and would be quite interested in a way to auto merge on demand.. With automerge I try to keep it disabled most of the time, for fear of accidentally merging things..

In my case they get merged, I was used to press Alt-M and...

oh
@stacker You mentioned "auto merge" in your question though.. If it wasn't this auto merge, what is it? Is there something else?

AARGH, I thought I discovered something and now after pressing auto-merge on and off again I can't tell. BUt I found the image that I used showing the original settings.
Auto-merge wasn't active but after snapping, LMB, Shift RMB they got merged.
Was this a (unintended) hoax and I should delete or did work? I used 2.72a
