@metadaddy I assume you're talking about the big reveal of Aura? ;) We shall see. For now it really feels like an unfinished product
1) /one/one.app works only in Safari (I define "works" as being able to actually call any of publisher functions like enable/disable Submit button or attach the function that's supposed to be executed
2) <input type="date" /> doesn't work on Android. Beats me why. Regular html5 pages display the native date picker just fine but in S1 - keyboard, suckah! And good luck guessing the locale format we'll kindly accept :P
3) Stateless development is advised = no <apex:form>. Means no widget fields like date picker or lookup. If you want the page to work fast, you have to design your own widget (search + recent items for example). And if you'll decide you want the apex:form after all - lookups will upen up a new window popup, just like on desktop :)
4) Josh Birk's onestarter, Mobile Design Templates, Mobile Packs etc carefully avoid the topic of date pickers and popups, I wonder why :P You're lucky if they compile at all because out of the box all unclosed <img> tags will make the compiler go "nice try bro"
thank $_GOD for jQuery mobile :) which also has some quirks (on iDevices the S1 app's top bar sometimes jumps up & down, needs extra CSS hacks) but at leats there are LOTS of examples :)
