B+W is a higher end I'm guessing? It's on sale for $80
Yeah, it might be how Amazon lists prices too. I've noticed sometimes that sale prices aren't really sales, but just their price compared to the listed price.
That's why I was curious if they're good filters for super cheap, or okay filters that amazon is listing as being on sale.
some use thicker filter frames, which increases vignetting, some are more prone to scratches or less effective filter material, but may not introduce aberations
It might be on to luck if one gets both at the same time, as it may happen that best effect on sky happens 90 degrees from best effect on water reflections. A CPL is no miraclemaker.
Touble is, one mostly sees only photos with properly used CPL filter, not those photos that have gone wrong or no effect is showing at all. The reality is the latter one, at least in the beginning: No effect to be seen, or rather ugly effect when there is any.
Expectations and results don't meet.
The idea of a polarizing filter sounds so simple. And it is too. Making it into your photos succesfully is not so simple.
Is there an upside to getting two separate filters for different lenses? Or would just getting the larger filter with a step down adapter do the same thing?
But is there any measurement saying that, at least in mostof cases, RAW are less clipped than Jpeg? (I hope the word clipped is clear) — Revious18 mins ago
it would seem someone is really, really confused about what RAW is
