@GraceNote Workplace SE, now that we're graduated, would like to go ahead and pull the trigger on setting up a blog. We have discussions on our meta, a Trello board setup, and at least one or two articles ready to publish.

Q: Do we want a community blog?

Good day all, is it ok to post a question to more than one forum?I have a development question that I posted in "Programmers" but I just realized that it would probably be answered in "StackOverflow" faster. Can I post in both or do I need to delete my question and add it to "Stack Overflow"? Thanks in advance for any responses

@SharronDenice I'd suggest deleting the other question.

Cross posting tends to create a lot of noise and spreads out good answers, making it harder for future readers with the same problem to find everything.

The other option, @SharronDenice, is to try to tailor the other question to the target site.

Programmers SE and Stack Overflow solve different problems, so it may be possible to try some editing, but really deleting is probably best if there are no answers...

Nah, I'll probably leave a comment in due time on the thread. If not just spring the blog on you guys.

Do note that as you have graduated, that means I need to pull a designer to make an actual design for the blog, so that'll take some extra time, though, when I do get around if we do approve the blog motion.
