quick question, i have created a "recent activity" list which lists recent posts, fan fiction, images etc. should i show an image twice on the list if it has 2 recent comments, ie.

In RWBY, Episode 1: Ruby Red Rose, we see Ruby chasing a criminal who stole dust. After she chased this criminal, he shot at her, thought he had gotten rid of her, but was saved by the headmistress of Beacon Academy.
Further on we see the headmistress fighting a highly skilled person on the heli...
Madara compares his susanoo with the tailed beasts . We also know at one point of time ever the 3rd raikage has a chakra level compared to that of a tailed beast. However, power of madara's susanoo and chakra level of raikage has a huge power gap.
So how do we comprehend the power level of madara...
When madara was revived, he lost his pair of rinnegan ,his reservoir of infinite chakra and not be killed ability (being an edo tensei).
So, I know why madara wanted to be revived, but my question is , how does the ability differ in these 2 cases?
On Fighting Festival arc (Laxus arc) Natsu and Gajeel can't get out from guild because of Fried's rune
But the rule says that statue or people above 80 can't get out from guild. So why Natsu and Gajeel can't get out?
@ton.yeung I don't think that would be a problem, maybe Powerpuff Girls, and Avatar... maybe Teen Titans, but that's pushing it. If anything RWBY is more like a fan-made anime MAD series than a cartoon series like Boondocks and Avatar
It's hard to say where one begins and other ends but I think RWBY deserves special attention, like Miku
after the time skip from Tenrou Island arc, a lot of fairy tail member quit.
So my question will be how many member of Fairy Tail before and after time skip? How many magician are quit after 7 years?
RWBY is really the first of it's kind so it's not something you can just label anime of not. It almost feels like Harry Potter version of Soul Eater... the soundtrack is one of it's main selling point and is a lot better than what you'd expect from full anime series
the VA is below average compared with most anime dubs
the animation somtimes feels like a badly done tales cut scene
obviously the action scene are the best part
the fights an choreography are expertly done and mangaged
we just need to figure out what types of content we want to exclude
For this matter, I'll take the stance that anime just means animation from Japan. While most anime follows the distinct animation style associated with it, even if it's in a western style it would still be considered anime. It's just a way to distinguish between Japanese animation and non-Japanese animation. Of course that opens up discussion about Chinese and Korean "manga" but we'll revisit them another time since.
Any one think they can offer a compelling reason to the contrary?
or why RWBY should be a special exception?
I'm inclined to say that RWBY may be inspired by anime, but it isn't made in Japan so it isn't anime, but doesn't that means fans of anime aren't going to enjoy it, hell they'll probably love it, unless they're elitist purists. It's only a title that deals with geography, not quality or style
IMO for the purposes of this site, we should think of anime/manga as a subculture rather than as media. It's a question of whether RWBY fits into the interests of that subculture. I don't know the answer, nor do I really care, but it's necessary IMO to tell whether it should be allowed or not.
@ton.yeung we don't get enough traffic to those types of question for it to be a problem, but for RWBY that's another question since there's a pretty big audience
defining the subculture is difficult since there's alot of overlap
@ton.yeung I don't think what would may a difference
I guess my viewpoint is that since it doesn't seem that anyone has a strong opinion for or against it, we should allow it for now. If we find that we're getting overrun by questions about it then we can change the policy later, but honestly I don't think that will be a problem.
I started out by watching the anime for Gunslinger Girl, and now I want to finish the story by reading the Manga. On what chapter does the anime end? And does the anime skip or change any chapters?
I guess what I'm really asking is:
What would I need to read, in order to cover the difference ...
Naruto is great and still reading it, I tried watching One Piece but the fillers killed me, and Bleach I have heard to many bad stuff about to even dare to try :|
@Yokhen If you like the traumatic parts of Shingeki no Kyjoin, you would probably like Rebuild of Evangelion. If you're into the more action-y parts, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood would be more up your alley.
@ton.yeung yeah, a friend showed me darker than black, but we would always watch it late and i would fall asleep haha, thanks for reminding me, perhaps i will continue it now.
@Yokhen I'm just going to throw some stuff out there that I personally find really worthwhile; Chihayafuru (the start is slow, but becomes amazing), Beast Player Erin (a touching story that is always underrated), Shin Sekai Yori (dark storytelling at its finest; a must watch), Haibane Renmei (beautiful and mysterious world), Clannad (beautiful school drama), Tokyo Magnitude (because the world shakes)
